The Holy Cross sanctuary

A wooden temple was built in the second half of the 17th century. It took on its present shape in the first half of the 19th century. In the center there is an altar with this wonderful painting of Jesus Crucified (17th /18th century). It is a known pilgrimage site. There are many certified cases of healing and grace. Nearby the church, there is a Neogothic chapel (end of 19th century) with a spring. The water is said to cure numerous illnesses. Annually, the day after Easter, there is a famous procession on horses, the so called Osterreiten.
