St. Mary’s Assumption Cathedral

catedralThe oldest preserved historic monuments of the City are from Gothic times. The most famous is the St. Mary’s Assumption Cathedral, situated near the Upper Square. This impressive building was constructed in the second half of the 14th century. The walls are made of ficellebricks, in the Silesian Gothic style.
