Weisshun’s Channel was constructed by Carl Weisshuhn in 1890. It was a huge project and difficult to implement, too. There needed to be a 45-meter long tunnel drilled in the rocks and three tunnels on slopes in highly inaccessible locations in the valley of the river Moravice. It is still in operation today. A popular tourist path runs nearby. While walking along the picturesque river valley, you can see how the mechanism from the 19th century was constructed.
