The DonnerSmarcks family nest

The DonnerSmarcks palace is situated in Krowiarki (formerly called Polski Krawarz) in the Piotrowice Wielkie commune. It was erected between 1800 and 1826. Between 1852 and 1877 when the palace belonged to the Gaszyni family, it was thoroughly reconstructed. It gained Neorenaissance and Neobaroque character. Toward the end of the 19th century, when the DonnerSmarcks became the owners, the palace gained a new wing. The building is surrounded with a big park with unique old trees. There is a mausoleum of the DonnerSmarck family.
