Doctor Kuh's clinic

On the edge of the village, there is a palace built after 1826, when dr Johann Kuh, a medicine man, eye doctor and a throat specialist and a freemason, bought local land. In 1831 he opened an eye clinic in the palace. In 1857, after dr Kuh died, the Bancks family took over the property, and the palace itself was thoroughly rebuilt. They owned it up to 1945. Before they ran away from Wojnowice. They are said to have hidden treasures in numerous hiding places. After WWII the palace was used by the health department. It is now being restored.
