Lichnowscy family palace, built probably in the 18th century, in the 19th century rebuilt in Neogothic style. Today it hauses Social Welfare home, run by the Franciscan nuns. Tourists are allowed to see the farmyard and a former knight hall, converted into a chapel. The exterior Neogothic elevation is worth noticing. Franz List stayed and composed in Krzyżanowice. Also Ludwig van Beethoven stayed here. In the palace park there is the second biggest American tulip tree. A natural curiosity is also the thickest in Silesia (fourth thickest in Poland) ginko tree.
