Wooden Church of St. Paul and PeterThe Hněvošice community is situated in the neighborhood of the well-known natural reservation “Hněvošický háj”. Archeological research shows that this region was settled already in prehistoric times. It was first mentioned in writing in 1288. The Church of St. Paul and Peter, today a unique historic monument, was built in 1730. In the 19th century a bell tower was added to the church. Most of the interior furnishings come from the 1730’s. The tower bell is late Gothic. Between the years 1995 and 1996 a new Church of Jesus the Good Shepherd was built.
